“The Jane Bus” is a nod to The Jane Collective, also known as the Abortion Counseling Service of Women's Liberation, which was an underground abortion service in Chicago from 1969-1973 during a time when abortion was illegal.

Women's rights are under attack once again- so I imagined a modern group of renegade "Janes" that will drive from town to town and help women have safe abortions.
Now with Roe V Wade under attack on the state level, I am offering this art to help inspire and encourage one another to stand up for women's rights which are human rights.
